I keep choosing this place. Staff assisted me with sim cards during my first stay. Perfect for me with Wi-Fi, off-site car park, dryer, and electric kettle. It has everything I need. Coming back for New Year.

The property is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and well located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The accommodation is homely, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen and bathroom had plenty of space and facilities. Dean Village and Victoria Street are both within walking distance, which is great for exploring the area.
Felt truly looked after, no complaints whatsoever.

Perfect location for our travels - just a short walk to the city center and the castle. The place was also well equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals.
The showerhead wasn't very powerful, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, there was construction happening outside, which was a bit disruptive, especially after a late night.

The Old Bakery was such a great find! We got excellent value for our money with a homely and clean room, comfy beds, and plenty of space and facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. The location couldn't have been better, with Dean Village just around the corner and Victoria Street within walking distance. The host, Tony, was kind and understanding when our flight was delayed and made sure we could get into the accommodation easily.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more options.

The Old Bakery was excellent value for money and the room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful Waters of Leith and an enjoyable stroll to Stockbridge. The staff, especially Tony, were kind and understanding when our flight was canceled and made sure our late arrival was smooth.
The morning meal could be improved with a better selection of coffee and having washcloths available.

The Old Bakery is conveniently located near popular attractions and has a cozy seating area. Nothing like a good ol' tourist trap and a cramped space to make you feel at home!
Construction outside. How lovely to wake up to the sweet sound of pounding and drilling.
